About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Can I apply for a multi entry visa after I have used and exited China on a single entry one?

I have a single entry Business M. I’m going to need to return to China within a month of exiting after my first visit. Is it possible to apply and be granted another entry Business M with the 3 months expiry date of the first one?
