About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Do i need apply a visa? What are requirements to get one to Hong Kong such as financial condition or sponsor or something like that?

I am Vietnamese, I'm studying in Melbourne. I'am planning a Hong Kong trip in Jun 2014. How long do i have to apply for it before travel date?

You should apply from the Chinese embassy in Australia one month in advance. I read from the HK Immigration Department that Sponsor is not a must. The financial condition refers to your bank statements, savings accounts passbooks, tax receipts etc.
