What type of visa is required for Foriegn Spouses

I am Australian born, my partner is Chinese born. We have been married in Australia and I am now relocating to China. What type do i require if I want to obtain full time employment there? Am I required to obtain it outside of Chn, or is there an applicable spouse one available, so I can enter first and seek employment opportunities without any restrictions after arriving?

If you will work there, you should apply for a work Z directly with supporting documents such as company invitation letter and work permit. But if you do not have an offer yet, you can apply for a family visit L with your marriage certificate (it should be attested by Chinese embassy/consulate where you live).
