About:Chinese Embassy in Australia
my flight is a 22hr layover in Guangzhou.Can I leave the airport & checkin a hostel w/o a visa?

ReplyYes, but you need to get a free stay permit from the frontier inspection office in the airport, with your passport and ticket for your connecting flight.00Reply
