About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

24hr transit visa waiver?

Hello,

I just booked a Air China flight CA176 from Brisbane to Beijing that gets into Beijing on fri 6th Sept at 11pm. I then fly from Beijing to Pyongyang, North Korea the next day Sat 7th Sept at 1pm on a separate Air Koryo flight . I spend 5 days in North Korea then fly back to Beijing on Thurs morning 12th Sept at 10am with Air Koryo. I will spend 4hrs at the same airport and then fly back to Brisbane the same day at 4:50pm on a separate flight CA173 . My question is do i qualify for the free transit as i dont spend more then 24hrs each time I enter? I also noticed that the first flight CA176 has a refuel stop in Shanghai on the way into Beijing, so will that effect my entry?

thank you,
Anthony K

Hi, it is ok if your transit time is less than 24 hours each time, but please check again for the first flight, the 24 hour should include the stopover in Shanghai and domestic flight between Shanghai and Beijing.
