About:Requirements for China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

I am from the US, now working in China. Where do I get proof of no criminal record in the US?

You should apply for the no-criminal record from the FBI. FBI require your fingerprints. But it is difficult to find a place to record your fingerprints in China. You may visit the local Chinese police station and see if they can do it for you. If they can't, I am afraid that you may need go back to US to get it.

You must go back to the USA to get the police clearance certificate because you must present it at the Chinese Consulate for Legalization. This Legalization cannot be done in China.
