About:Macau Visa Policy

Chinese Passport holder to Macao

My wife has a chinese passport and a usa green card(not sure if that makes a difference). Does she need a visa for Macau? or is it a similar situation to the guy from singapore with a chinese passport(7 days no visa required)
thanks!!
We would like to visit on vacation for 4 days.

Yes, she is allowed 7 days free stay, but where will you leave for from macao? because as I know, 7 day is solely for transit purpose via Macao from a third country to mainland PRC or from mainland PRC to a third country.

it was just to go to Macau and then back to Shanghai. No 3rd country involved. In this case it seems my wife would need a visa unless we do a combo trip to another country. thanks for the reply.
