Food types in Chinese

We have now spent two weeks in China and are really struggling with ordering food in restaurants that only speak/write Chinese! It would be really useful for tourists to have a page on your website dedicated to food
so that we can show it to waiters;

Name of dish : in English and in Chinese and phonetics
Ingredients : a list of basic ingredients for each dish
a list of basic ingredients we might ask for eg Chilli, Garlic, Onion, Chicken

This sounds like a simple phrase book - but one we have struggled to find elsewhere!
