About:Shanghai Maglev Train

Is there any plane in place to build a shuttle line from Pudong airport to Hongqiao HST station?

To reduce the heavy traffic caused by the travelers from Pudong airport to Hongqiao high speed train (HST) station, Shanghai should build a shuttle line or a train line or extend the Maglev line to Hongqiao HST station. Otherwise, the travelers who want to take high speed train definitely feel very inconvenient from the point of view of time consumption and train/bus transferring.

Are you suggesting something other than the Metro Line 2 that already runs from Pudong International Airport to Hongqiao HST Station?

It would be nice to have the Maglev run further than its current short run between Pudong Airport and Longyang Station, where interestingly enough Metro Line 2 also has a stop.

So you can take Metro Line 2 directly between Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Station ... or you can take Maglev from Pudong Airport to Longyang Station and transfer to Metro Line 2 to complete the trip to Hongqiao Station.
