Will it be easy to navigate and climb huangshan without a guide?

Hi, I find this page very useful!

I am planning to take my parents (in their late 60s) to climb that mountain. I think they will love the view. But I have some worry:

-Will it be possible for elderly to climb all the way up, is there only one route or any easier routes?
-Any hotel recommendations close to sunrise watching on top of the mountain?
-Will it be necessary to hire a guide? If yes, will it be easy to get a guide on the location itself?
