About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Where can I get the transit permit?

Hi,
we plan to do a trip HongKong/ Shanghai/ Paris using the 72 free visa transit.
can you tell if the permit is delivered at the airport when landed or at de departure airport such as HK.

If you plan to stay in Shanghai for about 72 hours, you need to inform your airline for the free transit request so that the airline will email your information to the airport. You will be issued a transit permit upon arrival at the airport.
