connection from yuanyang to kunming

We are planning to travel to Yunnan in August. Our schedule looks like following:Day 01: Kunming (Grand view park, Dian Chi),Day 02: Xi Shan,Day 03: Stone Forest/Shilin - night train to Dali,Day 04: Dali town,Day 05: Erhai Hu,Day 06: Zhonghe Shan,Day 07: villages - night bus to Shagrila ,Day 8 and 9: Shangrila,Day 10-12: Lijiang and around - night train to Kunming,Day 13 and 14: Jianshui,Day 15: Yuanyang - here comes the question: How long does it take from Yuanyang to Kunming and how many buses are avaible a day? Does anybody know the exact departure time?I'm travelling with my mum (60) and my 3,5 yrs old son. Does the schedule seem to be realistic? I don't want us to rush but even not to stuck somewhere and waste time.

The buses from Yuanyang to Kunming are available at around 09:00 in the morning and 16:00, 18:30 in the afternoon. You may take them at Yuanyang New Street Terminal and the journey takes about 6-7 hours. The itinerary you list is fine, but since there are children in your group and the journey is a bit hard, you are suggested to find an agency or a local guide and driver. Hope it helps.
