Pls advise on the different options of getting to ST by road or fast train from and also the time taken and the distance covered :1)  Hong Kong to ST2)  Guanzhou to ST

From HK to ST, the direct method is the direct buses, which takes about 5 hours. The buses leave at 09:00 and 15:00 from Connaught Road West, Sheung Wan or the gate of Cityview Hotel in Kowloon. From GZ to ST, you can find frequent buses from GZ Tianhe Bus Station. The bus takes about 4 to 5 hours.
