Travelling to Europe before studying in China

Hi, I'm about to embark on a 2 month trip to Europe before I begin my university exchange at Nanjing University. I haven't received my forms from the uni yet and have been booked to leave in 2 weeks. Is it possible to get a student visa somewhere in Europe as an Australian citizen?

Actuallt, it is difficult to apply in a third country now because in most countries you are required to provide residence permit for work or study. Otherwise, your application will not be accepted.
