Visa for Indonesian for short trip to shanghai

I'm Indonesian living in Atyrau Kazakhstan would like visit shanghai for short trip (2 days) only during long week end.
Do I need one? If yes, how I can get it from Atyrau,

Yes, you need to apply for it in advance from the embassy in Astana. You can either submit your application in person or by someone entrusted.
