Visa Trouble

Hey can any body tell me how to crack this deal out. I applied for my extension from Beijing PSB well in advance and was suppose to receive it in 5 working days i.e. by 28.06.13 but today morning got a call from the office and they informed me that I will get it on 10.07.13. So can I stay in Beijing till that time and further I have a business trip to go on 5th July hence without passport I also cannot travel. Is there any way I can get it and passport before 5th July... Looking for a quick answer. Shall appreciate.

Hi, you can stay in beijing if your application of extension is under processing. But may I know if you will exit mainland on 5th July for a business trip? so you need your passport? anyway, I think you should raise your enquiry about this directly to the PSB and explain to them you need your passport before 5th July.

I shall not be leaving China but have a business trip in mainland only i.e Jinan and Guangzhou. So I want to know can I travel without my passport by train and flight.

As I know, you can travel by train if you have the official form from the PSB showing that they have your passport, but it may be difficult to board a plane. The receipt from the PSB is helpful to stay in hotels.

I am finding trouble with it as I am not sure if I buy train ticket they won't let me board then I would have a conference to attend which would be missed. Can u guide me whom should I directly contact to know the exact details so that I can be sure about my train travel.

Hi lakshay, you can take train with the receipt form from PSB. Don't worry, you can also contact the PSB for further confirmation or apply rush service for extension if necessary.
