About:Beijing Travel

I will be going holiday with family to Beijing middle of November 2013 for 5 days.

My kids like to experience snow dropping. Does snow start dropping at that time? Is it safe to visit places and travel in Winter?

Snow dropping will happen more possibly from late Nov. So to ensure snow falling, you may adjust your trip a little late.

Don't worry! It will be safe to travel BJ in winter.

It's better to visit Beijing in December if you want to experience snow. Last year, the first snow flakes in Beijing started around middle of December, while in 2010 it was -15C but no snow.

Based on the history of BJ weather, the snow start dropping in late November. And it's safe to travel in Winter than. But I want to remind you that in winter there might be strong wind outside. Please prepare for that.
