Question

Hi, I am a UK permanent resident with a Ghanaian passport, I am travelling to Brisbane - Australia from London Heathrow Airport through Hong Kong and I will Transit for about 7 hours then board Qantas to Brisbane. I do not intend to leave the airport, just want to stay at the airport and continue my journey. Do I need a transit visa for this.Thanks

Hi, you have to apply for it in advance through Chinese embassy in London even you will remain in the airport transit area.
