Work Visa and Work Permit

Hi, I have worked in Beijing last year and I recently got another offer to go back to PRC and work. My problem is i previously had TB and I am cured now. I have clearance showing I am cured already (from doctors in India). I was informed by the company vendor that I will not be able to get it because of my previous TB case. Is that true? I hope you can help clarify this for me.

Hi, if you have clearance showing you are cured, it will not be a problem to get work permit. So, please try to contact the company again.

Thank you for the quick response. I have a follow up question though. I had a problem last year renewing my work Z in PRC because of TB (I just learned i had it) and my Z was renewed to L only and adviced to go home here in India. Now that I will need to process for a new Work Z/ Permit, will this still pose as a problem since I was sort of denied of work permit before? your answer is much appreciated.

Hi, I don't think it will be a problem for work permit application now. Your company should help if they really want to hire you.
