how often do buses run from Taiyuan train station to bus station to take bus to Pingyao? can you buy advance tickets?

The Taiyuan public bus line 11 can take you to reach the Jiannan Bus Station where you can take buses for PY.
The interval of bus 11 is around 6 to 8 minutes and you cannot buy the bus tickets in advance. There is no need to buy the tickets in advance.
