About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible for the visa-free transit?

I'm flying from Taipei to New York City via Beijing and back. Am I eligible for it for those two flights?
Do I need to get in touch with my airline in advance to let them know or do I have to fill out some kind of form during the flight? Thanks!

Yes, you are eligible for this free transit if you have flight ticket leaving within 72 hours from BJ Capital Airport. That is right you need to inform your airline about this transit request so that they will able to send your information to the airport. As I know, some of airlines provide forms to be filled before boarding the plane.
