Hi, you need to get a multiple entry L in advance, it will cover all the above ports of call excluding Hong Kong where you are not required one.

Hi, between your Answer and that supplied to previous enquirer , I am completely confused.
I and my wife are doing same cruise , with stopover for five nights Beijing. trying to figure out the requirement. Travel Agent says visa is not required for short day trips, but required, of course, for over 72 hours which means single entry is okay ( and much less costly).

Hi Don Mackenzie, if your cruise stops only in Beijing for five nights, a single entry is enough. The new regulation came into effect from July 1st, 2013, so visa is not required for a short day trip less than 24 hours.
