Is it possible to make a day trip from Xiamen to the Earth Towers of the Hakka (Yongding).

Is it better by bus or by Train? How many hours is one way?

Yes, of course. From Hubin South Bus Station, there is direct buses to reach Yongding Earth Tower directly, so it is better to take a bus instead of a train.
It takes about three to four hours on the way.
