Getting past the airline agent ...

Are the airlines aware of this rule? I will be traveling from New Delhi to Beijing (I am a Canadian citizen). Generally, I have found that airline employees are not all that savvy about such rules, especially since I am departing from a country (India) which is not one of the 45 countries on the list. Just to be on the safe side, is there a firm document that I can show the airline agent so that I can board the flight?

Hi, since the policy has been carried out for half a year, the airline should know it if they have regular flights to Beijing or Shanghai. You can try to contact them before departure. If necessary, you can also contact Beijing International Airport via 0086-10-56095400 for confirmation.
