About:China Visa Application in UK

UK applicant from outside the UK.

I am a UK student doing a placement year in Germany. I will fly to China in early August and stay under 2 months, and have been invited to do some part time work. What type of visa do I require and what would be the best course of action regarding applying without returning to the UK?
Thanks in advance,

Lee

Hi, Citizens of Europe Union should provide the original and copy of the resident permits issued in the past 6 months by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Germany if you apply there. The correct type should be business F with invitation letter.

So I can apply at the centre in Fankfurt, Germany as long as I have my residents permit for Germany? Is that correct?

Thanks,
Lee
