taxi service from dawang lu subway station in beijing

Question

Are taxis usually available at Dawang Lu station for transfers to Happy Valley?  I know that bus #31 is an option.  However, this is our first time in BJ and would rather take a taxi than deal with bus connections, etc.  We are amusement park fans visiting from the USA.  By the way, Happy Valley seems to have the strangest operating hours with various rides opening and closing at different times throughout the day!

Yes, the taxi is available at Dawanglu Station and you can take it to reach the valley directly.The operating time for different ride is different, but in general, you can enjoy them in day time from 09:00 to 17:30.

Thank you for the response Alex.  Do you feel that getting a taxi on a weekday morning from Dawang Lu to Happy Valley will be an issue if it is during the rush hour times?

It is not a big problem, but it may be hard to get one during that time than during other time.
