About:Chengdu Travel

How do they speak english in Chengdu?

Are there parts of the city or some places you can have conversations in english? Do the locals speak english?

Most of local people there speak Sichuan Dialect and do not speak English.
Chinese Mandarin is widely used in China to communicate, but it is hard to find a place that they have conversations in English.

I've found that staying in hostels the majority of workers speak english. These hostels do have private rooms. Most of the hostels i've visited in china always had at least a couple of english speakers. Also chengdu is visited by many foreigners and you might even meet other finns
