Question

My Hong Kong passport is going to expire in September and I am in need for a new one.May I know what kind of applications and documents do I need for renewing my passport and the cost? Also, I am planning to travel down to Houston during the July 4th week. Do I need any appointments ahead of time? Thanks.

Appointment is not required, you can visit the consulate directly for application. Fee is US$ 67 if send to HK by Recorded delivery, and US$ 84.5 for Express delivery. Documents required are your current HK SAR passport, application form, photo. You can also contact the consulate directly for more details.
