About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Can Visas to the PRC be obtained by mail from the embassy in Ottawa (I live in PEI)

Or do we have to appear in person? If by mail, how long does it take (how long would we be without our Canadian passports?)

You can apply from CVASC branch in Ottawa by post. It takes about 10 days to process your application.
