You need to find a Japanese travel agency desginated by Chinese embassy to apply for you. The documents you should provide: passport with a validity of six months and two blank pages at least, a filled application form affixed with a recent passport size photo, invitation letter from any authorized organization, company or Chinese individual (If not, you need to offer travel itinerary, hotel and round trip air tickets reservation bill) and a copy of your passport with valid entry records to Japan.
