About:Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Gorge)

I am travelling with family in December. We plan to take the public bus from Lijiang To Zhongdian.

On the way to Zhongdian, what is the nearest bus stop at TLG? how far is the bus stop from TLG?
It is possible if I get off at the nearest bus stop & continue my journey after we are done at TLG?
Alternatively, we plan to take the direct public bus from Lijiang To TLG. we do not wish to trek TLG but just want to have a look only. How far is the scenic viewing point from the public bus station?
May I know how much will be the cost of the bus ticket & how long it will take?

As for your bus trip from LJ to Zhongdian, I'm afraid you cannot get off at TLG and then board to continue for the journey. As you say, to travel from LJ to TLG is better.

By taking the bus to TLG, you will get off at TLG Town (Qiaotou town), which is within walking distance to the ticketing office, but it is around 9km from the real scenic area. Then you can take the tourism bus to reach then.

I remember the bus fare from LJ to the town is CNY25 per person and it takes around 2h.
