About:Guilin Travel

How to go to Daxu Town south of Guilin

I have not see suggestion to Daxu town except one. I am interested to see 1000 year old town.
I stay at GL sapphire hotel can I go to Daxu by myself or I need to have local guide, how much I need to pay for 1 day trip to Daxu.

From your hotel, you can take a taxi to reach GL General Bus Station. At this station, you can take buses to reach Guanyan and then get off the bus at Daxu. Then you will reach there.
I do not think you need a local guide, because it is better to wandering around in the old town to enjoy the old culture.
There is no entrance fee for the ancient town and you just need to pay the bus fare. The bus fare is around 5RMB.
