About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Cured TB, will I have a problem with the residence permit because of my lung scarring?

Hi I acquired TB while working in Beijing last year. I went home for medication and now, I have finished the DOTS medication for TB. I will go back to China because I got another offer.

I don't think it is a problem. But you should bring some proofs (ie, a proof from your doctor or hospital claims your TB has been cured).

Hi! Thank you for your reply. I will definitely bring with me all the certifications and TB records showing that I am cured. Thanks again!

Hi Tim,

That's great to hear that you are cured of TB. Any update have you received your work permit again?

Hi all! Yes I have my work permit now and is currently in Beijing for almost 2 months :) everything worked out alright for me. During the entry-exit medical check up, i brought with me all my x-ray films and my medical report showing I am cured already. They still had me do an xray test (it is imperative for everybody). But it did not cause a problem because it showed scarring only and not active TB. Thank you for all your advice :)
