6 Month Double Entry Tourist Visa Query

Hi, My boyfriend and I are travelling around the world, departing Perth, Australia July 11th and not arriving in China until October 17th (outside the 3 month time span). Is it easy for us to obtain the 6 months double entry one considering our circumstance? We both have Australian passports.

To my knowledge, those who have been to China have better chance of getting double entries. Anyway, you can submit your application. But it's all up to the consular officers. They have final say.
