About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible for 72 hour visa free transit?

I am in Hong Kong. I am a American citizen.Going to America I want to travel there via Beijing.Will I be able to apply and get the 72 hour free transit ? How do I apply for it?

Yes, if you fly from HK to USA via Beijing with confirmed ticket leaving within 72 hours. You need to inform your airline first and fill a form from them so that you are able to get the free transit permit on arrival.
