About:Chinese Embassy in Jordan

Australian applying for Chinese Visa in Delhi

I am an Australian tourist visiting India on an Indian Tourist Visa.
I am planning to travel to China in July. Can you confirm that this is possible.
After reading the website of the Chinese Embassy in Delhi it appears that we require the following (as we do not possess a invitation to visit):
- Application to the CVASC in Delhi
- Proof of return flight and hotel booking
- Personal statement confirming travel plans
- Letter from the Australian Embassy confirming our travel plans
- Letter from our employer

Is this information correct? As we are long term travellers we do not have a letter from our employer, however we do have recent bank statements with proof of sufficent funds. Is this accepted?

Thank you very much for your time and help.

Dhanyavad.

Hi, I think the letter from employer is required for Indians only. You can contact the CVASC directly for this inforation. Generally, flight ticket and hotel bookings are enough.
