About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

How to get visa free for Spanish person to go to China ?

One Spanish guy will fly from Thailand but cannot obtain it at the Embassy in Thailand.
So can he get one as he need go to attend meeting on 3 Jun all days.

Please help to answer me urgently.

May I know which city he will visit in mainland PRC? how long of stay over there? I know that Spanish are eligible to transit through Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou for at most 72 hours without visa.

Shanghai for meeting 1 day on 3 Jun and leave from Thailand on 2 Jun and leave from Shangahi on 4 Jun.

Then, he is able to visit without visa, but in order to use this 72 hour free transit policy, he has to fly from Shanghai to a third country/region other than Thailand. That is to say, an interline ticket via Shanghai to HK or other country is ok.
