Visa Length (Tourist)

Hello,
I recently traveled to Guangzhou and Hunan over a 2 week period and have decided to go back and stay with friends.
I am have some friends in Changsha who I will be staying with for most of my stay. However, this time I would like to see more of the country with possible train trips to Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.

My question is; am I able to get a multi-entry which will allow me to stay for 2-3 months as a tourist?

When I've tried to seek this information from I can only find answers from those in the US. So I wanted to make sure that info relates to me, before submitting all my paper work. I've noticed L type tend to only allow stays for up to 30 days.

Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards,
Rob

Hi, please keep in mind that leaving for HK counts an exit on your visa. If you want to stay for 2-3 months, you can extend your tourist L twice at the PSB where you live. Each extension can be issued with 30 days, and also one more entry if you need.
