About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

When do you think I should go to apply for the visa to HK?

I will visit Honkong in October 2013, How long is the processing time and how many months is the validity. Is it too early to apply from now (May 2013)?

Australian passport are not required visa to HK for 90 days. If you do need one, the application may takes about 4 weeks if it shall be send to HK for approval. You are suggested to apply one or two months prior to your departure date.
