About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

My wife is Chinese national,do i still need a letter invite to obtain a visa to visit her family?

My wife is already in China i am now going out there to join her do i need a letter from her or her family?

Yes, invitation letter is required for family visit. Otherwise, you may need to provide hotel bookings for application. I think you do not have reservations as you will stay her place.
