About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Can we apply for a multiple visa?

We will be going to China in July with my husband and 2 kids. Can we get a multiple entry for 2 years so that we do not have to apply again if we go to Shanghai, China in a year or two.

Is that oka

I am afraid you couldn't if you haven't been to China before. By the way, it is the consular officers who decide what kind you will be granted with.

You could apply for a multi-entry, but it is ultimately up to the Consulate as to whether or not it would be granted. Usually it is good for one year, but I believe you are able to request a longer extention. However, there may be criteria to meet for that.
