About:Xizhou Town

change L/F to Z after arrival

I got an offer to work in China and I am asking if that possible to go as tourist L or business F and then I change to Z working while I am there? Is that regular procedure people do?

Hi, you are not suggested to do that. If you got an offer and required documents for work, you should apply for a work Z directly. This is the legal and correct step that for your own good.

Technically, you could but it is a much bigger headache and is a lengthier process when you wait to transition to a Z from there versus having the Z and switching to Resident Permit once you arrive.
