About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Possible to receive transit visa?

I am in Bangkok and need to visit Beijing for ~24 hours. I know if I purchase a round trip I am ineligible for the 72 hour permit, but if I enroute my return trip via Hong Kong/Singapore, can I then receive 72 hour permit? Essentially: BKK-PEK-HKG/SIN-BKK

It is ok if you have flight ticket to Hong Kong with confirmed seat leaving within 72 hours. Contact your airline first and fill a form for free transit when you take flight to Beijing.
