About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

want to change f to x but school is in different city from where i renewed f, where do i chnge

was renewing my f in yiwu but now i want to enroll in a university in shanghai do they require me to change my residence before schools open becoz i intend to stay on campus.

Yes, I am not sure if you can change your F to X in Shanghai, maybe you have do this in HK. And after getting the X, you need to change your residence permit as well. Please visit your local PSB for direct answer.
