About:Chengdu Shuangliu Airport

Do I need to get a Chinese visa to stay in Chengdu Airport Express Hotel during my transit?

I have a layover in the airport for my trip from KTM to SFO. Is the Airport Express hotel inside the airport? Can I stay there without Chinese Visa?

The hotel is next to T2, but outside T2.
If you stay there for no more than 24 hours, a visa is not needed, but you need to apply for a stay permit in the airport.

Jon, how did this go? I am planning to travel from KTM to SEA via Chengdu. Did you face any problems getting the stay permit? Would Nepalese nationals also qualify for this? Thanks!
