About:Hong Kong Travel

Is one hour enough transfer time for a flight arriving from Auckland to Hong Kong?

Arriving in HK 7:30am on Air New Zealand, connecting flight on Air China to Beijing at 8:30am. Is this enough time? Will customs be cleared at Beijing?
