how to travel china via tibet by train?

i want to travel to shanghai ,china by train from tibet...i will travel alone is it possible if i make my way to China via Tibet? What are the documents needed? Do I have to reserve the ticket before or can get current reservation?

Any foreign people to T has to apply for an Entry Permit in advance. As I know, it is forbidden for foreign travelers to travel there alone. Anyway, there is one train operating between Lhasa and Shanghai.
