About:China Visa Application in UK

Can the inviter's letter be a scanned document that is then emailed.

I will not have time to wait for the post?

Generally, a fax, copy or printout of invitation letter is acceptable for application. Yours is ok, you can also contact CVASC for further confirmation.

THanks Zack - that is reassuring but I saw the following clause on visaforchina.org

"(v) A letter of invitation from an organization, which cannot be e-mail and should contain information of the applicant (i.e. full name, gender, date of birth, purpose of visit, date of arriving and leaving, place of visit, relations between the applicant and the inviter, financial support during stay there) and information of the inviter (i.e. name of organization, contact number, address, stamp of the organization, signature of the organization’s representative)."

I know the invitation letter can not be e-mail one, but it is ok if yours is a scanned document emailed to you with stamp and signature. You can print it out for application.
