Transit permit

I haven't put on advance a request for the transit permit to my airline. Can I get one at my arrival?

I am afraid not, you can try to confirm this with the airport directly.
Call at 0086-10-56095400 if you plan to transit through Beijing International Airport, or 0086-21-51105100 if you plan to transit through Shanghai Pudong or Hongqiao Airport.
