About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

What do I need as a first time visitor to China?

I am planning a trip to China for business purpose. I am not working through a travel agency and will be making hotel reservations as needed because the trip will take me over a few provinces during my stay.

You also need to provide: Invitation letter from the business partner in China and Confirmation/introduction letter (from applicant's employer) with the full name, title, signature and date of the issuing person from applicant's company. Other basic documents are: a valid passport with a validity of at least six months and two blank pages, a passport size recent photo and filled application form.
